Waiting to Illuminate Green

I was driving really fast
But now I'm stuck at this red light
It feels like I have been here forever
I am so sick of this red light, I can hardly wait another second
My friends are daring me to run the red light
With no one around, why not?

However, my moral compass is telling me to wait until I see that green light because I have run a few red lights in the past, and I can't take more guilt

For more guilt might just shatter my moral compass

As much as I dislike waiting, I know the green light is waiting to illuminate
There is no time to hate, luckily I do have time to wait.

Free Radical (Evolution)

Why does Tom Oz keep changing his mind?
Is it because he is a radical?
Or is he just free?
Maybe he is just a free radical
Shall we keep asking questions until we unlock the mystery that is Tom Oz?

Who is this guy?
He claims he can fly, not literally of course, but with his colorful imagination
They say imagination is just for kids
How could that be true?
Just stare at the deep blue yonder, and take some time to ponder
It is okay to let your mind wander sometimes in order to find something truly divine

Tom Oz says people can change, and things too
It just might take a little bit of time
I believe in Tom Oz, do you?

Well at least one person does

Passion Pit says let your love grow tall
I believe I am living in a passion pit

You don't have to read these words, after all it is your life

But give them a chance, after all aren't we all human?
We all make mistakes, but we grow from those mistakes
At least in my opinion, and that is why I believe in evolution.

Tommy Breeze

But what if Tommy Breeze did go to Los Angeles?

Would his life be any different?

Would the stars have shined any brighter?

Would the weight of his mind have been any lighter?

Whose to know, and why should I care?

Life just isn’t fair…

Not Just Bi-Directional (4>2)

This road leads to many places

For it is a winding where road

So it is not just bi-directional

It is not a circle, it is more like a spiral

And it is spiraling out of control

But maybe we can control it

Just take a deep is breath and keep your hopes up

This road is going somewhere

So it let’s just enjoy the ride and watch this crazy road spiral

I don’t worry going? about the direction anymore

And I don’t look back to where I was before

I just look forward and hope for something better down the road.

                                                I don’t know.

Seven Deadly Sins (Peace Will Set US Free)

If these words won’t be read

Than the seeds of hate will be spread

I am not commanding you to read these words

I am just merely asking:

Peace is not a scary thing

Fear is scary as hell

Peace will take us to heaven

Won’t be commanded by the seven sins

Pride will lock us up

Greed will drown us

Gluttony will eat us alive

Lust will enslave us

Sloth will slow us down

Wrath will make us go crazy

Envy leads to hate

Peace will set us free

We Will Make Our Own Maps

These prairie dogs will scare the snakes away

And these flies will clear the path for me

I shall walk alone

And they will laugh at me

Next thing they know I’m leading them down the path I’ve already blazed

And then we all will be joyfully laughing at the beauty that surrounds us

And I will turn and say there is no need to follow me,

Join me and let nature set you free

There is no need for a compass, follow your own instinct

We will make our own maps

Just because it has been explored before

Doesn’t mean it can’t be explored again.

The Seeds of Peace

Is peace possible in a world full of hate?

Why is it so hard to cooperate with people not like us?

Can we not just board a big peace bus instead of the hate train we’re on?

The world is not that simple of course,

It is easier to hate than love

And trains can go faster than buses

So maybe we need to build a peace plane

It will fly around the world and take the peaceful off the hate train

Seeds of peace and love have been planted before

But the red tides keep washing them away

And the seeds have sunk to the bottom of the ocean floor

It looks like hate and anger are here to stay.

Seeds Will Remain

I am not a farmer

You can take away

From the land

That he has stood on

Since the first day

I am just a farmer

Who has a fear of running

From this farm that I will tend

Until the very last sunset

You can burn the grass but not the seeds

Seeds will remain

Until washed away by the red rain

But they won’t disappear

They will just appear somewhere else

And elsewhere there will be grass again

So you can take away the grass

But in the end, the grass will win

You can get rid of this land

But you cannot get rid of me

My spirit lasts eternally

In this land upon which I stand

So I am not just a farmer

I am a spirit just like you

Now, can you see the other side of the blue?

Or do you still want to take away all of my greens?

Dreams of a Wild Guy

They said his dreams were crazy
They said he would never make it
Now look at him, he’s a star
And he is gonna go so far
Maybe to another galaxy

Who knows where this guy will be
As far as I can see he will make it somewhere
That somewhere is to be determined
But that is one determined guy
And yeah he might be a little shy
But man can he fly

Dreams might seem crazy sometimes
But sometimes they take us to places we never thought possible
And possibly we might wake up in the middle of one, one day
At least that is what I say

Well I Still Have a Head at Least

No more dreaming

No more believing

They locked me up for free thinking

It’s a cruel world

Business as usual

Life just isn’t a musical

Keep your mind out of the clouds

And think of ways to attract large crowds

My dreams might be over

But at least now I’m a performer

No one is standing out there yet

But I’ll a get a fan one day I bet

Oh wait that dream I did forget

Well I still have a head at least.

5th and Speer

If you’re not comfortable with yourself

How could you ever be with someone else?

If you don’t like the way you look

Then make a change for yourself

That’s all the advice it took for johnny to change

Johnny is now free from the range

For he has forgotten his childish past

He raises a different flag on a new mast

John found God on the corner of 5th and Speer

Now Johnny has nothing to fear

He is a man now

For he is forgiven

Nothing stays trapped in his chest

Yeah John is the best

For he found God on the corner of 5th and Speer

Now he has no thing to fear

Except losing his faith

But that won’t happen

If he holds on to that cheer

And now I just heard

That John won man of the year

He gave all his thanks to God

And everyone applauded

Because he stuck to his plan

Yeah John is the man

Whether you’re man of the year

Or you’re  a nobody no one wants to hear

Just meet at the corner of 5th and Speer

Find yourself some of that blissful cheer

Because the sky is so clear

When you forget all of your fears

Don’t let those clouds haunt you

They’re just there to taunt you

Make those clouds evaporate

Don’t turn them into sources of hate

So it’s always sunny in John’s mind

No he’s not blind

It just took him some time to find

That righteous source of energy

But what did Johnny really find down there

On the corner of 5th and Speer?

For he has lost all of his fear

But where the hell is his flair?
