When you play with people's hearts, someone's bound to get crushed
I've played with thousands of hearts
Mine has been broken hundreds of times
It remains to be crushed
I've been rejected, neglected, and berated
Yet, my heart is still not crushed
After all, it will be I who delivers the invitation to your crushing defeat.

Love at Twenty-First Sight
When I first saw her I thought it was love at first sight
But she rejected me like a bitter pill you just can't swallow
Heartbroken, I decided to follow
the other fish in the sea
I kept saw her swimming and wondered why can't she be with me
We were young back then and the feeling just wasn't right
Maybe it's love at twenty-first sight
I've seen her more than twenty one times
But I feel like she's seen me less
The other fish kept passing me by
But they nibbled at her like she was the best bait they ever had
We were young back then and the feeling just wasn't right
Maybe it's love at twenty-first sight
I hid out in a sea anemone
I kept saw her swimming by with a big school of friends
But I could see the loneliness in her bright eyes
Through the darkness in mine
My heart was growing hungrier
I couldn't stand it any longer
I saw a tasty worm outside my hiding place
Took a bite and was hooked
My body was surfacing toward the light
The fresh air enthralled me, and I saw her at the end of the line
There's plenty of fish in the sea, but now she is mine
We're older now and the spark is finally bright
It's love at twenty-first sight.
But she rejected me like a bitter pill you just can't swallow
Heartbroken, I decided to follow
the other fish in the sea
I kept saw her swimming and wondered why can't she be with me
We were young back then and the feeling just wasn't right
Maybe it's love at twenty-first sight
I've seen her more than twenty one times
But I feel like she's seen me less
The other fish kept passing me by
But they nibbled at her like she was the best bait they ever had
We were young back then and the feeling just wasn't right
Maybe it's love at twenty-first sight
I hid out in a sea anemone
I kept saw her swimming by with a big school of friends
But I could see the loneliness in her bright eyes
Through the darkness in mine
My heart was growing hungrier
I couldn't stand it any longer
I saw a tasty worm outside my hiding place
Took a bite and was hooked
My body was surfacing toward the light
The fresh air enthralled me, and I saw her at the end of the line
There's plenty of fish in the sea, but now she is mine
We're older now and the spark is finally bright
It's love at twenty-first sight.

Who Needs It?
I thought I needed it
I thought I was dependent on it
Now I just say who needs it
You might need it
They might need it
But I don't need it
It used to control me
It used to own me
Now I own and control it
What is it?
That's for you to decide
Of course I still want it
One day I will get it
Until that day
I just say who needs it.
I thought I was dependent on it
Now I just say who needs it
You might need it
They might need it
But I don't need it
It used to control me
It used to own me
Now I own and control it
What is it?
That's for you to decide
Of course I still want it
One day I will get it
Until that day
I just say who needs it.
